Tyler didn’t set out to be a talk show host—he was chasing a dream to play professional soccer. That dream brought him to Boston University’s Division I team, but early struggles, self-doubt, and a season-ending hip injury forced him to confront a deeper question: what comes after sports? While thriving off the field in leadership roles, including as BU’s SAOC, SAAC & Patriot League President, Tyler felt a growing disconnect between his identity as an athlete and his purpose beyond the game.

When his playing days ended, he kept hearing, “You’ll be fine—you’re a student-athlete.” But no one could explain how. He searched for examples: CEOs of Nike, Walmart, Airbnb—all former athletes—but no roadmap, no guidance, no community.
So he built one.

LIVE with TY is the virtual talk show he created to bridge that gap—spotlighting stories of former athletes turned founders, creatives, and executives, and unpacking the habits, pivots, and failures that shaped them. In under 18 months, it won an Emmy and has featured top talent from Harvard, Netflix, Amazon, and the NFL. The show is for student-athletes, builders, and dreamers navigating their next chapter—with real talk, actionable insights, and a community that proves: your story doesn’t end at the final whistle—it’s just beginning.
